The symposium will focus on recent advances regarding processing during sleep and intermediary sleep-wake states, considering work at both the neural systems and behavioural levels. Besides lectures from experts in this field, a poster session will be part of the programme. In addition, the symposium of 2017 will include a lecture from the Visiting Honorary Chair in Cognitive Science. The Honorary Chair of this year has been awarded to Prof. Dr. Jerome Siegel, a prominent and leading sleep researcher.
